Can I laminate my VA carry permit card? It's just a paper card like a raffle ticket. I dont see this thing lasting 5 years.

Just remember to sign it first. Oh, and I always scan it before signing it...  Lets me keep an extra copy in case I lose it.

I cut up a clear,  individual, baseball card holder to put my CHP in . Works good.

I did. Also, Warren County issues a plastic card now.

Had my VA permit approved in February 2006. I had to get it laminated. Couldn't actually believe that's their permit.

Out of state permits are issued by the state police.  Resident permits are issued by the circuit court for the jurisdiction in which you reside.  I guess the VSP laminate it for you.  I have actually never seen a non-resident VA permit.

Locally different cities and counties seem to vary between plain paper or plastic similar to driver licenses.
