Has anyone found these on the market yet? I saw it at shot and this is the one gun I want to buy. I missed the mark on all the Colts and refuse to pay $3k for one. This Tisas will give me everything I want.

that actually looks decent and I don't hate the billboard
![]() wonder what the street price ends up being. I could drop my threaded barrel in there and have a nice little quiet popper. |

Guns. Com had a few for like $680ish plus tax and ship but are sold out currently. I decided I was going to wait and see if I could get one closer to the Bud's $599 when they became more prevalent.

I’ve had my eyes peeled for these too, it’s a nice plan b over paying a fortune for a real Colt since they can’t be bothered to make them.

I kind of want one now just to prove a point to a friend that paid way too much for his M45A1. I wonder if the fit and finish of these will be better than the Colts.

Want it now. I have a Tisas 1911A1 in 9mm it runs great like it very much. I just bought RIA 1911 last week for $399.99. I’ll be shooting it this morning with my Gold Cup Trophy. I can already feel that the trigger on it is heavier that the Colt and Tisas. Also the finish is parkerized looking and just handling it has put some marks on it. But this gun to me is going to a workhorse range gun mainly. I want it to look worn and used.

I know it would throw off the clone part but it needs front strap treatment of some sort.

Colt always does some strange decision. While it dropped the tan/brown M45A1, Tisas wants to pick up the market share of what Colt decided to let go. I am sure Colt has plenty money to make from other products, it just didn't make sense to discontinue tan/brown M45A1 when people willing to pay more than MSRP for one.

Colt is nothing more than a name to me. IMO the Tisas looks better. But looks are subjective. I can whole heartedly say that the MSRP of the Colt is not worth it at all.
I equate the desire for Colt products to their perceived use in the .mil Every m16/m4 I’ve ever used has been an FN. I just don’t have the love affair with Colt that most do. |

My Colt M45A1 is probably the last pistol I’d ever part with. I love that thing. Think I paid about $1,700 for mine several years ago.
That said, I’m thinking about picking one of these up to see if I wear and tear on the colt |
