How many people still. Shoot the contender and or encore?

I have both the g2 and encore with a large assortment of barrels

I use the encore with the 15" 209x50 the most it is my main deer hunting gun.

I have ~7-8 Encore frames and about double the number of barrels. Only one of the older Contender frames and a .22 rifle barrel and 44Mag pistol barrel for it. (yes it started out life as a handgun). I have a rifle and pistol muzzleloader barrel.

I have the older Contender with a 44mag, 7mmTCU and a 45cal 14" ML barrel. I still enjoy shooting them.

Also have the TC Encore 50cal ML, very good shooter.

I've got two G2 Contenders and an Encore. I've got 12 barrels for my G2's and only a 308 Win pistol barrel for the Encore. I SBR'd one of my G2's and put an Ace FAL style folding stock on it, it's a pretty small package with my 10" 300 Blackout barrel on it. I also put a Ace stock on my Encore, but had to thread the barrel and pin a FH on it so I didn't have to SBR it.

14" .41 Mag bbl and 10" .357 Mag Hot Shot bbl with choke. Have since replaced the Simmons 2x20 scope with a Weaver 1-4x variable. Still shooting them whenever I'm home.

I have my G2 with my 10"45/410 barrel on it ready to go squirrel hunting when weather cools off a bit

Have an old Contender, dusting of reloading bench & getting back into it.
Have carbine barrels in 45-70 and .300 Whisper (SSK barrel), have 14" 7-30 Waters and a 10" 7 TCU.

I have not shot my contender in long time. The two encore I have are my main hinting guns

I shot a Contender years ago in metallic silhouette competition with a 10" barrel in .45 Win Mag and a 14" barrel in 7mm TCU as well as a 14" .223 Remington barrel that I used varmint hunting. I wish I still had that .45 Win Mag barrel.

I currently have a Contender with 14" .30-30 and 14" .223 Rem barrels. The 30-30 is not horribly efficient with only 2000 fps with a 150 gr bullet from a 14" barrel, but it is accurate and it's great fun to shoot.

The problem is they no longer make the single shot bullets. They where great at the slower speed from the pistol barrels.

Some of the 300 black out bullets may work.
The good thing is with the single shot barel is you can use spritzer style bullets safe out of the 30/30.

I have had good luck using the faster powders for the caliber.
