40 cal from King’s BF sale.

Im pretty pleased, right at $239 with xfer fee.  Came with 4, 14 round mags (all but one was a little rusty).

Most of the scratches and gouges on the base of the grip will be remedied with a $3.50 panel from Beretta.

Its very tight, great trigger.  I don’t even mind the DA/SA/safety/decocker.

Did a quick cleanup and will shoot it next weekend.

That's a very accurate pistol. Enjoy.

The Beretta APX is a real winner , just a little late to the game , there are some real good deals on the APX right now .

APX is on my mind, waiting for a sweet deal like above!

I was tempted to try out an APX but shipping and sales tax kills any deals for me. Too bad. The Centurion model intrigued me.

How does it shoot? My only frames of reference for .40 are a USP and a P229...the USP isn't horrible but it's still a bit flippy. The 229 likewise isn't horrible but it isn't really something I'd shoot for "fun".

I hear the PX4 is comfortable to shoot in 40...I wonder if it really is?

Ill let you know, i have had the exact XP as you with the guns you mentioned in 40.

The only two that have been pleasant for me so far is the Beretta 96(?) and the HK P30l.

Interesting - the P30L isn't bad in .40? I always just assumed the P30/L would be like the USP Compact for me...which in 40 was unpleasant. If it shoots nicer than a USP in 40...I might have to try one of those, too. But yeah - either way, still would love to know how the PX4 does!

Tagged for interest. I know where there's a PX4 in 40 at a shop near me, otherwise I was looking for a USP.

PX4 is a very soft shooting pistol. I picked one up a while back and really liked it. I converted mine to  a G model[ decocker only]

Looks 100% better than my $199 LEO PX4.  Nice score!

Nifty, Got one a month or so ago, in .45 ACP. Damn nice gun to shoot, fired it along side a Ruger 1911 (maybe not the best comparison), but both me and the guy that owned the 1911 agreed that the PX4 was softer on the recoil.

I replaced the backstrap with a Large size one, so it looks 25% better.

I also replaced the recoil spring guide rod assembly with a new metal OEM one and it made racking the slide even smoother!

Did a quick scrub down and the trigger, although already good smoothed up to very nice.

Also replaced the mag catch button—had a small, now has the large (but not extended).

Its a very easy gun to work on.

I finally put about 40 rounds through it today, it's OK.

Nothing special, goes bang.

My HK P30L beats it for shootability.

Still, no regrets on this purchase.

Can you swap barrels in these to go to 9mm?  I've got an M&P40 I'm going to get a 9mm barrel for and was curious if you can do that with the PX4? I'm betting not.
