Hey guys,

I’m looking to shoot my FNP-40 suppressed.

I understand this pistol is long out of production, being replaced by FNX, then FNS, and now 509 series.

My plan is to

1. procure an FNS-40 long slide barrel (5in) and have it threaded.
2. Procure an FNS 40 slide
3. Use the FNS 40 slide on my FNP-40 lower.

Question is; is this a viable path to be able to shoot my FNP-40 supressed?

I know Elkfire dragon made barrels to convert .40 to 9, but I’m interested in shooting .40cal suppressed through the FNP-40.
