We have some night shoots coming up, and I usually go hand held light, but really want to go rail mount.    I have a TLR1, but could get a new rail light.    Prefer kydex, need OWB.

Any suggestions?

ANR Design or Blackpoint Tactical, T-Rex Arms if they offer the SP01.

Depending on what your night shoot is, it may be worth going to a TLR1-HL at minimum, or X300U if you got the money for the better light because they're putting out 2x or more as much light.

Those are all nice.  I’ll probably get a new light too.   This should only cost 300 or so

I have the same set up.  I think that I am going to go with KT-Mech.

Also nice.  Thanks guys, I spent a couple hours surfing and found none of these.

Good input.  I’m getting a new light too.   The TLR1 has held up great, it was one of the first available!  Must be over 10 years old, but time to move on.

The newer HL is much brighter than the old TLR1.  I have both but I like the TLR7 more now that my TLR1's because the light activation switches are much more intuitive I think.

I scored a TLR7 on deep discount from Primary awhile back for $89 and could not pass up the deal.

I’m sticking with the TLR1, upgrading to the HL for sure.  Anybody know if they are identical in size to the old TLR1?

I’m ordering this holster from KT-mech and their light choice sez TLR-1.

There's a couple minor stylistic differences, but the overall shape as would be important to fitting a kydex holster is the same between the TLR-1, TLR-1s, and TLR-1 HL.

I had thought so, all the pics of those look really similar.  Thanks.

I’ll update this when I get all the stuff.

Ordered the KT and a new TLR.  And batteries. And other gun BS I don’t need.

The new holster will end up being 300.

Black Rino Tactical can make what you are looking for.

I use thier holster in the IWB configuration but they all ship with both style clips.

Just got a email from KT,  they shipped today.

Pretty short lead times right now if anybody was thinking of ordering.

I’ll update once I get it in my grubby little hands.

Got it.  Really nice build quality and fits like a glove.   All edges nicely finished, seems pretty comfortable wearing for a couple hours putting up lights.    Gun is held high and tight like it should be.

KT-Mech has a new customer.
