New (to me) GI 1911A1.  I'd be shocked if it's had 50 rounds through it.

Beautiful gun.  I've got the same in 9mm with the 3.3" barrel for concealed carry and it's been nothing short of reliable.  the first week I had it I put more than 3k rounds downrange without a single hiccup.  That with at least 6 different types of ammo. Wife sent about 300 of those rounds.

The natural point of aim is spot on for me with the XD mod2 variants and just fit right.  I'm about to get the Mod2 9mm with the 4" barrel so I have one to carry and the wife has the smaller one to carry.

Over 15 years of EDC and over 20k rounds. Still collecting tears from the internet.

Yes thats one of Dale Fricke original Archangel AIWB holsters, and its still great after 10 years. Light has been upgraded to several much brighter and smaller light options. Picture is somewhere around 10 years old.

I never understood the hate for the grip safety. It was one of the main reasons i chose it for my primary AIWB carry.

I actually own glocks as well. A G19 and a G40. I had a "click" when re-holstering on dry fire exercises when i got the tail of my t shirt stuck in the trigger guard of a G19. Yes user error. Yes, i was reholstering quickly and more carelessly than i should have, and i was not looking the gun back into the holster, but with the XD all i have to do is put my thumb on the slide, and then im clear to reholster as fast as i want or need to.

Anyways, mine has been a solid tool that has seen plenty of use and abuse. Springs and roll pin replaced twice. (decided just to add the roll pin as part of spring maintenance, they are cheap enough)

Horrible home stippling job i know, but heck, i was 21, and it was 15 years ago. All the cool kids were doing it.

New concealed carry gun.  Stopped by the lgs to see the barren shelves and they had a few guns but inexplicably also had this.  Need to order a holster now.

5 pull trigger weight avg. Much better light to show the true deep black color. I've worked long and hard on this one.. about 5 years now.

At one point in it's journey, I pulled the ultimate boner and horses ass bead blasted a perfectly good factory SS finish. Not the look I was going after...

Needless to say, it was a good excuse for Cerakote and H&M Nitride+ No big deal..

Bought this about 3 months ago. Ronin 9mm LW Commander.

Sent it back to Springfield 2 months ago to have night sights installed and the front strap checkered. Should get it back this Monday. Then it's time to install some mods.

This is the very first full-railed Operator I've ever seen with the standard NOVAK rear sight (of which I love/prefer...) Every other one I've seen in the wild and internet has that typical stupid, skin scraping, Gomer Pyle-Inspired, Goofy-Ass-Backwards, adjustable rear sight!

I love this Springfield and never thought I'd see one like this. This gives me hope I'll find one someday! Thanks for sharing...

ETA: The adjustable rear sight equipped models are lovely too and a 9 out of 10 for me and I still almost bought one... I don't wish to hurt anyone's feelings so I wanted to clean up my original post... Also, the stainless Operator above is damn sexy I must admit... well done!
