HKUSAGuns is a scam site. It’s blocked on most browsers and lots of stories of people getting ripped off.

As for USP trade ins, good luck. Summit had some years ago for $450 and I should have spent a few paychecks buying every one I could. Same for the P226 trade ins a few years ago. Very unlikely to ever see either of them that cheap again.

I have looked for years.
I've been looking for the 9mm trade-ins though, which don't seem to exist.

I think since the USP was designed around .40S&W, most sold to LEO were sold in that caliber.

That one place in MO?, I think, where the guy was trying to sell his business used to have them occasionally.
Forget the name.  He often has leo trade stuff.  If I remember the name, I'll come back and edit.

edit:  That's it!  Summit.  You had it right.  I just didn't recognize the name.

Summit Gun Broker.

Unfortunately the police trade ins have become sparse and the deals aren’t near as good of a value as they used to be.

I picked up the full size from summit since I didn't own any .40, and since they were so inexpensive I figured it would be a good gun for if/when ammo got hard to find.  And then it did.

I'm still kicking myself that I didn't pick up one of the compacts as well.  The price of both guns together would have been less than just one new.

Mine showed up in excellent condition with dead night sights, which I replaced with adjustable.

Kings Firearms, Recoil Gunworks and Robertsons Trading Post.  As mentioned above, the well for PD trade-ins doesn't seem to be as deep or as cheap as it once was.

when the scamdemic hit around march 2020, target sports had about 100 G22 trade-ins for $299.
I watched them slowly but surely disappear over the next couple weeks.

I got one of the ones from summit years ago, supposedly they were from Santa Barbara PD. Had dead night sights, replaced them with a brand new set of meprolights.

Another place for police trade-ins is Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore

https://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/category.cfm/sportsman/used-firearms

They don't have H&K trade-ins presently

I traded for the above gun a few weeks ago. The night sights which were Trijicon were dead, so I sent them in and got them re-lamped for $57 USD. Came with three thirteen round magazines, two  sixteen round jet funnel magazines, jet funnel kit, GG&G rail adaptor, and original gray box (no manual). The gun was a variant 3 (decocker only) and it was a police trade in from Montclair, CA Police Department. Best trade I ever made

The officer who was assigned that was an avid enthusiast gauging the bonus items.

I cannot really say because it would piss a lot of people off and rightfully so. But the person I made the trade with is a fine gentleman I still talk with,  and he was able to get two things from me that he would have to pay ridiculous prices for.

Since you're in AR, you could drive to GT Distributors in Dallas or Pflugerville (longer drive). They're constantly getting police trade-ins, but I believe they only sell them in store.

bought mine used off buds for around 700, i dont beleive it was a LE trade in but it was in pretty good shape, had the jet funnel and 5! 16 round jet funnel mags, Trijicon HD NS. Pistol shoots great and i have about 3k rounds of .40 to shoot up before i sell the pistol.

I bought one on Gunbroker a couple of weeks ago from Simmons Sporting Goods.

It was a true auction and I lucked out and got mine for $472.  It was advertised as a V1 but when I received it, it is in fact a V3 which suits me just as well.

Mine was produced in 2006 and was undoubtedly a police trade in as the right side of the grip has been worn down and was impressed with dirt and grime.  It was in otherwise fine shape.

They had another one just like it other than being manufactured in 2013 and having a big scar towards the muzzle end of the slide on one side.  It went for $471.00.  That auction ended one minute after the one I purchased did.  I seriously considered throwing one more bid on that one trying to pick it up, but let I it go.

I’ll post some pics tomorrow.
