It would be definitely be cool to see a few more 5.7x28 pistols on the market. I'm somewhat surprised that one of the major manufacturers have never come out with one. Sig in particular surprises me. The seem to give everything a try. Absolutey no problems with my Five seveN pistols. Just would be cool to see some other designs in the caliber.

Yeah, and one that's not selling for double for what it SHOULD be!

This.  I'd like to get one, but the cost seems to me.  A predominantly polymer weapon should not be $1275 at my lgs. I do not know why FN seems to want the price to be so high; I can only guess that they believe they are making to most money from it at the current price point.

I keep hoping, but I haven't heard any plans of an importer to pick them up.  A quality 5.7 pistol that doesn't cost a grand+ would make me an immediate convert.

Considering I just bought a Maxim 9 for $830 with built in suppressor and another suppressor thrown in free, that price does seem outlandish.

I wonder if this is what was hinted at in the latest EA YouTube video?

there is another odd ball 5.7 pistol out there made in California or Nevada...  I can never find the link, saw one once here at AZ gun show.  And don't forget the MPA, although after seeing it you may wish you had forgot it.

FN keeps prices high on its stuff so its less likely to be misused in crimes.  However, that only works until a certain US Army Major buys one.
