Freinds, took the new Security 9 compact out today along with a bunch of stuff to chrono.
Kind of disappointed ??.
This thing flung bullets allover the place.
I never managed to get any good groups.
Distance was 25 yards rested.
I had several malfunctions with fed American eagle 124gr.
Malfunctions were brass half extracted and slide trying to feed the next round.
Other ammo tried was win nato 124 gr, geco 115gr and 10 115gr remingtons.
All fmj and the other ammo didn't malfunction.

I am going to try 147 gr cast and 147gr speer next time to see if that helps any.
Also going to clean it well and lube everything.
I know it was new and needs broke in somewhat but the full size security 9 needed no pampering by me to shoot well.

I may have a total stinker in hand.

I was thinking of getting one of these.

I guess that's on hold now, pending further information.

I sure like the full size, though.

I had a similar situation with a Ruger E9.  It was used and cheap.

It wouldn't keep a group under 8" at 35'.  My P90 and P89 shoot much better
