I owned one of those "!0th Anniversary" 745's for a few years in the late 90's...and sold it for some reason.

I also sold my former duty-carry 4506 to my dad circa 2004, and was able to talk him back out of it this weekend.

My other S&W .45 (also carried on duty for a couple of years)...

S&W Model 10-5 made in 1971 and a Colt Police Positive Special made in 1958. Both are police surplus guns that have been ridden hard and put away wet.

That hat was in NYC on 9-11 by the way.

They were not made in large numbers or very long. They were only made from 1986 to 1990.

Glad to see you got one.  Only one I handled I found in the car of a felon and a gun thief.  Wasn't reported stolen.  Was put into evidence.  It was an engraved retirement gun for a Pasco County Deputy.  I would have loved to have it . I will say my agency auctions guns.  It doesn't melt em down unless totally useless and auction passes on em.

My 5946TSW.  Ex Brinks gun.
Paid $300 a couple of years back.  It's a little beat up due to holster wear on right side, but it doesn't bother me.

New in the box, never fired Model SW9F Sigma, shipped from the factory in August 1994, less than a month before the passage and enactment of the Clinton AWB. I won it on Gunbroker. I have less than $300 total invested in it and that's with shipping transfer costs included.

Don’t recall if I posted this in the distant past or not. A Smith & Wesson that’s not commonly seen. It’s a model called a Light Rifle made in the late 30’s. Originally for the British Government for Home Guard use. Turned out to be a turd, frame tube would crack. They traded them to Smith for a bunch of 38-200 revolvers. In Britian’s wisdom they dumped most into the Channel. This is a Type1. The Type 2 was designed to reinforce receiver. A little to late to save a poor design.

Is something "funky" going on with the front sight on your 910 in the photo or is it just a really weird angle?

Just the angel of the photo.

Also, I got one of the factory Streamlight M4 lights for the Sigma.
