How do you like the TLR-7 so far? Got to finger fuck one a while back and have been wanting to get one, but have heard they've got flickering issues when bumped a little (dropping the slide or dry firing).

The TLR-7 rocks. There were some issues with flickering when they first came out. But that was taken care of pretty quick, my sample set of 2 have no issues.

One of the sexiest handguns out there. I can't own one here, but shot a friend's a few days ago. Great handgun.

I still have my favorite compact, which is the older one - love her probably over any other handgun I have and I have many.

Have they fixed the flickering issue or have you not fiddled with it enough?

Not sure if the 8 suffered those problems, but since the 7 is the parent body I figured it might. From what I was reading, it sounds like they fixed them shortly after release. Users were reporting a flicker when dry firing or dropping the slide. Streamlight has awesome CS though.

You're right! I researched right after you told me about it - wanted to make sure; mine appears to be one of the latest, updated models without that particular issue (and I spent a good while trying, now).

BUT thanks for pointing that out to me, bruh - I needed to do my due diligence!

Good deal. I've really been wanting to get one of the 7's, but can't bring myself to spend the coin on one. Especially considering I've only got 1 pistol that I can really put a light on and I've got 3 or 4 lights for it.

key one, I think. The default one.
You will have to screw it in tight to line up - otherwise it looks crocked because of how the rear dome of the lamp body hits the upper part of the fingerguard.
Tighten the screw and it'll line up.

Picked up my used M&P40 last week from AIM Surplus. It is in really good shape for a police trade-in. The picture below shows it with my other S&W autos, a 439 469 and a M&P Bodyguard.
