I built my own for a duty gun about 18 months ago. Had WAR rework the slide and Fire for Effect out of El Paso did the optic cut. When the photo was taken, I was waiting for the Dawson custom front sight to come in. It now wears a tritium FS that is the correct weight for co-witness. Shoots really well as you can see and the DPP is holding up great. https://i.imgur.com/7jvdKm8.jpg?1 View Quote Any snags with yours? I ask because I had issues with snagging with mine. I ground down the metal dowel that protruded in it. |

My dealer sent me an email yesterday and said that several of his distributor's sites updated the M&P 2.0 CORE page from "unavailable" to "coming soon."
Maybe there will be an announcement/release at shot show? |

they just got officially announced this week. a few videos and pics on smith's website

Looks like most of the models are on Smith's website. I'm slightly disappointed that they do not have a 4 inch.....
Edit: would I be able to put the 4.25 core slide on my 4 inch frame and not have a gap? |

The full size models are on the Performance Center Page too. Change your search filter to 9mm and they should pop up.

You’re right, I’m sorry - I was looking for the RDS on top and not reading all the labels.

Quoted: They’re making it too. Model #11828. It’s the M&p 2.0 PRO series core. The difference in the 2.0 PRO series core from the 1.0 PRO series is that the new 2.0 PRO’s get the nicer PC trigger upgrades unlike the old 1.0 pros that had the non PC trigger. View Quote And probably a silly question but The 2.0 core pistols will take full size 1.0 17rd mags right? |
|
[#19]
PC=Performance Center. 1.0 and 2.0 17 round mags are pretty much the same.

Thanks for the heads up on these guys! I'm hoping they make a compact version as well.

I was able to pick up my 2.0 CORE today from my local S&W LE distributor. Not much to report, it looks and feels like my other 2.0's. I want to see how these plates work out, all my other RDS equipped pistols are milled.

Per the performance center Instagram it doesn't look like they are making a 4" compact version. Someone at S&W really has been dropping the ball on this.

I don't know if they are including manuals with them now but make sure to use the correct screws for your red dot. I used the ones included by S&W and had my RMR repeatedly came loose even with thread-locker. Found out after talking to S&W to use whatever screws come with the optic.

Haven't seen any in stock yet. They said they were releasing in February. I've got a few in stock email notifications set up at different vendors. I'll try to update if I hear anything.

I got this email from S&W today. I'll believe it when I have one in my hand.
https://www.smith-wesson.com/firearms/performance-center-mp-9-m20-core-pro-series-5-barrel They are OOS at GrabAGun.com for $627.99, they are OOS at PSA so I signed up for in-stock notification. |

I can’t say enough good things about Smoky Mountain Guns & Ammo. One thing is for certain, if you don’t check SMGA before buying a gun, you are probably paying too much. With free shipping to Alaska, I buy a gun or 2 a month from them. |
