I'm happy to see a 5" black model finally. My 5" FDE ones are fantastic. But, the engraving, likely crappy knife, and challenge coin are sort of
 . That's a page from the new Sig handbook.I would rather they keep that nonsense and throw in an extra mag. |

I don't see anything that says it's got an engraved slide, looks like all the other M2.0 slides to me.

That doesn't have the large loaded chamber indicator on the top of the slide does it ? The left side of the slide doesn't have the cutout for the loaded chamber indicator like on the FDE version.

Anyone get one of these yet?
I have been waiting on the price to come down on the black 5” and this seems to fit that bill. How does the spec series engraving look? Too in your face? Or pretty subtle? |

Picked mine up yesterday.
The engraved shield isn’t too bad, pretty small actually, right in front of the rear sight. I’d imagine if you milled for an RMR, it would be gone easily. It may wear off on its own. Pretty sure the knife will make its way into the truck, and a little exacto work will open up the foam for more magazine storage. The case is bigger than the standard M&P case. There’s a couple other places at the $424 price, so keep an eye out. |
