I’m assuming it is since it’s a centerfire pistol, but rather be safe than sorry. I would like to dry fire it before I go to the range this weekend.

I was not aware of any center fire pistols that could be damaged dry firing so tagging for knowledge.

I checked the manual for my LC9S and it states dry firing is safe.

However, looking at the manual off of Rugers website I can not find any mention of it for the LCP II

Yup might look at your manual in case I overlooked it.

I have checked the manual, no mention, I went ahead and order snap caps for the pistol.
