Not that I need another 9mm but I'm curious about a SR9 or 9E to go with my PC Carbine even though I already own Glocks to go with it

If you have Glocks, you'll be disappointed

SR9’s are great shooters for their price and I would put them up against Glocks any day.  Better trigger IMO.

Girlfriend has the 9E and loves it. Shoots it very well. Having looked at the 9E and SR9 side by side, I actually preferred the 9E.

I agree on the 9E.  I bought one locally that came with a complete SR9 slide assembly.  I eBay'd the SR9 slide....

I purchased an SR9 and a SR40 to accompany my PCC.
I like them both. I had a M&P9 and shoot the Rugers much better.
I also have  XD9 and will take the SR9 out before it.

I am pleased with the Rugers and for $300 ea I'm glad I got them .
Locally at the box stores, they were $450.

I own an SR9C (Compact) and love it. Other then the "safety" features, it's a great shooter with good ergos. 100% reliable in the years I have owned and shot it. Mags are great too.

I love my SR9c.  The trigger is great, it carries comfortably and it’s ergos are very natural for me.  The mag safety was removed immediately upon delivery and the slide safety doesn’t bother me at all.  I actually have learned to like it.

per GunBroker they're now going for less than $350

I really wonder if Ruger is getting ready to drop these

Well I was right, they dropped the SRs.

However I'm debating trying to find a 9E on the used market

Ruger has ceased production. No longer listed on their website.

I saw that, honestly back in October/November when wholesalers had them for really cheap prices I figured they were going to drop the SRs
