Looking to pick up a spare firing pin or two for my Loaded model (PX9109L) and from what I am reading online it looks like Springfield 1911's don't use a standard series 70 .45 firing pin.

It looks like the standard .45 firing pin diameter is 0.093" but there are also 0.075" and 0.065" pins. Can anybody confirm whether I need a 0.075" or 0.065" pin?

Call  Springfield and see if they can assist you with the Bill of Materials.  Otherwise, even a $9.99 caliper from Harbor Freight can measure accurately enough to answer your own question.

Do they use titanium pins that are light enough for drop-safe?

I've swapped mine out.

It's a 9mm/.38 Super firing pin. I've been using the Wilson Bulletproof 9mm titanium pins in mine.

I got the Ed Brown 9mm/Springfield firing pin from Brownells after a little research.
I also switched to Wolff springs while digging around in there.

Much appreciated! I need to order some magazines from them so I'll add some firing pins to my next order.
