Probably a dumb question that's been asked before but for those that have one can you tell me if the top and bottom rails can be removed.
I like the gun but not going to order one if they can't. I have no interest in the rails. Thanks for your help!! eta: this one

Dont they sell a mk4 without the rails ? A non 22/45 version

OP, yes, they can be removed, they're held on by a couple (few?) screws.

If you do get one and take off the under barrel rail... IM me, I have been looking for one and Ruger will not sell them as an accessory item.
