Are Ruger magazines made by MEC-GAR good to go? I have an old Mark II that has always been perfect. Recently I picked up two new MEC-GAR magazines and neither of them are reliable. The old magazines that came with it still work perfectly.  Thanks.

I just buy Ruger mags, price isn't a deal killer for known reliability.

I bought some last year from eabco , I think they were factory mags, I’ll have to check later. I haven’t tried them yet though. They weren’t expensive iirc

Ditto.  Sign up for shop ruger.com updates, they have model-specific sales that lower prices on related accessories, holsters, sights, mags.  You have to be patient or lucky because they constantly switch models and they don't lower prices on all accessories, just the ones they feel like.

Got OEM black wooden grips for my Wrangler at 50% off.  Another time I got a DeSantis holster for my Ruger LC9s at 70% off.
