I bought this and put around 50 rounds thru it. I'm looking to sell it and was wonder what's a good price for it so it can move out the door.
I have 4 RIA mags with case and the condition is just as new as the day I bought it. Not a scratch on it.
No issues with it.

I searched online for that model, mostly out of stock. TSS had them for $436 new and saw an older listing on armslist for $449. Probably not much more, $500 maybe? I was interested in one until I splurged on a DW Guardian.

I bought the same gun in 9mm two years ago for $460. I'm thinking $590 for your gun is too high. There are new kimbers in two tone for a few bucks more.

I agree, for me to jump on it would be $400, if I was listing it I would say $475 and be happy with an offer of $425 to $450.

Does not matter how few rounds through it, it is used now. Just like the drop in value on a new car as soon as you drive it off the lot. RIA makes good guns but they are not known as big name.

$350, maybe $400.

Whatever you paid for it less 25%, at least.  Maybe a third less.  It's just a used RIA 1911 at this point.  RIA makes decent stuff, I have one.  But it's still just a used Philippine 1911.  It's a buyer's market right now and has been for some time.

Does anyone know if i can swap frames out on this gun(51697 to 51700)?

What I wanted to do, since Ive had no takers on his locally and dont want to chance shipping it since Im not a business, is try to swap out the frame from the 51700 TAC Ultra CS Single 9mm Luger pistol to this 51697 pistol.  I would like to have the light rail.

I tried to call Rock Island today but the phone doesnt ring and goes right to an automated answering system that tells me the operator isnt available the backup operator isnt available. I can try extensions but I dont know any #'s for them.

Rock Island Armory is out west in Utah or Arizona so probably on Pacific or Mountain time.   From looking at the pictures you should be able to swap frames since both are 9 mm.   The biggest issue is the recoil assembly which is captured.  There is no barrel bushing in the RIA mid size or compact.   I don’t think RIA has changed the frames to accommodate different recoil assemblies but I haven’t actually disassembled that frame with the light rail.

As long as the pistol is shipped by a FFL dealer to an FFL Dealer it is legal except maybe California which is a unique situation.

I’m not sure if Numrich Arms (gunparts.com) have RIA schematics.   You might be able to tell by looking at RIA web site as you can buy most parts off the web site:

Here is a source for RIA parts.
