Take a look at Milt Sparks Nexus, I use one for my LW Officers Colt.
Pretty minimal dual loop holster, well made, fitted and comfortable... order it and forget about it until it shows up, worth the wait. |

Another vote for Summer Special brownells usually stocks them. I have never found a better iwb for a.1911

Matt Del Fatti, John Ralston at 5 Shot Leather, Erik Little at Rafter L Combat Leather, and the entire crew at Milt Sparks Holster all produce first quality leather gear for toting a 1911. Any of them would be a sound choice. The shortest lead time will likely be Milt Sparks and for an Officers ACP the Summer Special 2, Executive Companion, or VM-2 would work well.

IWB is very different for everyone and what works for me might not work for you. |

I recommend something by Milt Sparks. I've had a versa max 2 that has barely aged in the 12+ years I've been using it. The holster really holds the 1911 tight to my 4 o'clock and does so very securely. The gun won't budge in a full on sprint. They are on the spendy side of things though. Buy once...
Edit- the draw is buttery smooth. |
