Just acquired a like new USP 45T. My trigger reset is not very tactile or audible at all. Is this normal?

What’s “tactical” about trigger reset?

I would say that's normal. The USP has a reset more like a 1911 than say a Glock. Most USP Tacticals have the match trigger kit installed, which is the lightest trigger return spring. You can tailor the reset to your liking by changing the trigger return spring. There are 4 or 5 different variations (Match, Light, LEM, Heavy, Ect.) It's pretty easy to do, especially if you have HK pliers. I would suggest the Heavy TRS (219441) if you want the hardest hitting reset.
