The Q4318 does get 1200 fps out of my 5 inch M&P. And good accuracy too. I get a round or two out of every box that has an overly hard primer. Click, no bang, and when I look at the primer on the round, it has the faintest mark on it. (I also had some very hard Winchester primers that I use to load .45 Colt loads. Switched over to Federal primers for my pistol loads).
Last month I bought a box of Atomic 124 grain bonded (Match!) JHP. They are decently accurate ( best I could do on a very windy day), and average 1298 in the 5" M&P. Not sure I'll shoot much of it though, those loads have to be pushing 40,000 psi, more like +P+ than +P.
Chrono here was displaying the velocity of the Winchester Q4318 I had just fired, I hadn't yet shot any of the Atomics when the pic was taken.
