In photobucket click on the direct link that shows up under your picture.  This puts it in your clipboard.  Then come back here, click on the square that look like mountains with a sun, then go and put your cursor in the source line and hit ctrl-v then you can edit it, add a border, whatever. Then hit insert.

Oh and the Kahr looks good.

picture one,  right side of kahr with recessed slide lock pin and even with grip area.  Also showing 360 degree stipplying with front thumb pads and trigger guard.  Ported slide and barrel by mag na port.  finish of titanium with metal flecks by accurate-iron, along with slide melt job,  trigger contoured by cylinder and slide, , complete internal action job by cylinder and slide along with 11 degree taper on barrel crown, sites by xs24/7 big dot. Also installed the wolff's 5# striker spring..

photo #2 shows xs24/7 big dot nite sites.
Photo #3 shows slide lock lever reduced about 1/3rd in size and completley contoured 360 degrees. along with closer look at trigger contour by cylinder and slide.

photo #4 shows side view of custom PM9 with 18,200 rounds through it.

work done by cylinder and slide and also accurate-iron.

needless to say this is my pride and joy and my everyday carry peace and my every day shooting peace.

It originaly was the factory dlc slide but when I had the slide melted, it had to be refinished.  Accurate-Iron did al lthat work and the finish is a titanium color with silver flecks through it and it is like the dlc finish. shows vertually zero wear.

I don't do video's but this baby is a real shooter, recoil is just about zero. The big dot sites are super from 15 yards on down.  very fast acquisition for me anyhow.

Your lookinng at a PM9 with 18,200 rounds through it.

Thanks for the nice compliment to.  I got morein it that entire price of the gun but like I have stated it is my 24/7 carry peace andmy always shooter to.  Love to shoot it more than my G19 even, although the g19 is just dead nuts accurate as hell..

Damn..that's one sweet rig.  Maybe I'll do something like that to my T9/K9...still haven't decided on which to get.

Was any refinish required on the slide stop after the reduction?

The slide melt naturally required a complete slide refinish. This was all done by accurate-Iron.com.

He is not only reasonable in price but top notch in workmanship and none of this 6 month wait crap either.

oops sorry about that, missed  that one word.  NO, refinish was nedessary. I just took my dremel and polished it to a shine, I actually did the slide stop mod myself, 100% of it.  Then on the right side where I made it flush with the grip, I then just took some cold blue and blued the end on the stop pin and it blended right in with the black grip.  really looks cool.  The slide stops are stainless and can polish to a finish like you are viewing.  I sure wish kahr would do such a thing to their slide stop as IMO it is the biggest eye catcher on the entire gun. That pin does not need to stick out one bit either. One can still push it right out witht he back of a pencil eraser .

Is it ported, or are the slide cutouts for lightening purposes?

Looks good!

thank you, shot mag-na ported guns since 1985, they just don't drill round holes and brag about how it works IMO.  Plus no refinish is ever needed by a mag-na port process,

How much of a difference would you say the barrel porting did?  Also, what is trigger contouring?  I can't see the difference.

BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE MAG-NA-PORT than normal round holes,  just a fun gun to shoot and u know alot say the PM9 is a snappy gun, NOT MINE.

thank you and I am not a KAHR SALESMAN either or rep, just a gun owner who loves his kahrs and would recommend them to anyone.

had a feela today question my 18,200 rounds kand stated that he would feel the gun was totally worn out and parts breakage should increase.  How many worn out kahrs have you seen???? Or Glocks, or sigs.  Parts will break over time but I guess that is why every gun company puts out a parts lists. Fix it and move on. I can say maybe Ihave bene lucky, I have not broken one part in eithe rof my 2 kahrs, nor my G19 , normy Smith M & P. but Ihave sleep in a holiday iin this past month...

T9/Mk9

two different guns to own. One IMO is a true pocket gun, the other a much better range gun, both super nice guns. I  just have never seen a T9 around. I am going to assume it is a tad bigger than the K9, which I own and love to shoot . It is my nite stand gun, with mmc adjustable nite sites on it and a 5# wolffs striker spring and oh yes mag-na-ported, and oh yes goes bang every damn time.

Fit and finish of my K9 is just awsome. They are top quality guns and I guess I get my dandruff up whenI read negative posts from somedpeople, who I thinkdI can read between their lines that NEVERdOWNED A DAMN KAHR , but love to comedon these different gun forums just to stir shit.  No doubt kahrs give issues to,but helldgo to the sig forum on this site and read of the discontnet there also, no gun company is immune to issues. but I have yet to see sig, glock, hk put out such a small semi of the quality the kahrs have that will definitley ride in your fornt pocket like the MK and PM series can do.

My only hold out for the MK was that it was just to heavy for my pocket carry and that is what I wantedf. I don't want to have to dress to carry.  Have carried  for 46 years and I have to say this PM9 fits the bill as good as anything I have ever owned.

I will own the P380 kahr when I can get my hands on one, for reasons I know not why either, as it will not replace my PM9.

nice chattin..

Porsche, how did you grind down the slide lever lock pin?  I filed down my slide release to make it easier on the thumb, but I cant imagine getting a smooth finish grinding down the end of the pin so it doesn't stick out so much on the other side.  Have any close ups of it pulled out of the gun?

dremel with a sanding drum on it, took maybe 10 minutes tops, then just polished it wht the dremel. They are stainless.  I just scribed where it stuck out and just dremel drum sanded it and kinda rounded it off. polished it,l then wth cold bue finished the end of the pin off.  Never  has really been an issue getting the pin out either.  Narturaly you are not going to push it out from the right side anymore but a jewellers screwdirver after lining up to two marks on the slide and grip, the lever just pops right out.

I wish kahr would at least offer a heavily contoured slide lever like the one I did,. It just looks so unobtrusive.  I didn't do it to my k9 as it is my home and range gun, so I just left it stock ..

Nice pistol you got there. I am picking up a PM9 next week and your mods have given me some ideas on what to do to mine. I am interested in the porting job. Do you have any other pictures of the ports from the top of the slide? Like you mentioned, I have heard that the PM9's can be a bit "Snappy" when shot. What holster(s) do you use for carry?

Have you done much training and practice with that gun from the following position?

Not alot, but I have done enough that I just don't get any flash back or anything with my magna ported PM9.  When I say not alot, probalby less then 200 rounds and then normally only one or two magazines at a session.  I don't enjoy shooting that way, not a good hip shooter, but at the distance your photo shows, I have normally been 5 yards at least away.  Maybe I need to try that ultra close position for better accuracy to. I do't do well at 5 yards that is for sure but it is not due to the porting, probably more due to a lack of practice in that position.  BUT i  HAVE SLEPT AT A HOLIDAY INN LATELY.
