I searched and couldn't find one, but have seen a few posts/threads about builds, etc. If this isn't allowed, please let me know. I love seeing what people have done. I'll start. Please list parts used if you feel like sharing. Seriously, great looking blaster. I have been doing some work on the polymer 80 frames recently. Has me thinking about building one myself for the shop for shits and giggles. TXPO |

The top one has a Tactical Solutions .22LR slide assembly. I have a few 15 round magazines that aren't compatible with it for some reason, but I swapped followers from one of them and the 10 round magazine that is inserted in the pistol, and it works okay. The bottom one has a Swenson slide and 9mm threaded barrel, with Glock small parts and Trijicon suppressor sights. This is almost as addicting as building AR-15s. |
|
Only picture I have at the moment. Gray V2 frame, Brownells G17 slide w/ window, Brownells/Victory First threaded barrel, and Taran sights. The rest is mostly factory Glock parts with a Ghost Rocket connector. Trigger is great on this pistol. My TBRCI stubby comp showed up today, and I'll be installing it after I do an initial test fire.

I do. Mine has been very reliable. The only issue I had was brass to face which is fixed now. Planning another build right now..... View Quote |

Quoted: Please oh please tell me this is true! I just signed up for the email alerts so I can have this too! View Quote It was an official-looking email from one of their employees that responded when I asked what was next for them. This employee also said some other cool stuff they have planned but further in the future. He wrote that the 26/27 compatible 80% frame was due out in 2018. |

Quoted: You just reminded me, this is the one thing I noticed this weekend when firing. Ejection seems to come straight back. You said you managed to fix this. What did you do? View Quote Easiest- Try different/better ammo if you haven't already. If it ejection improves with better ammo, changing out parts may or may not fix it. Cheapest- Install Glock part# 30274 ejector. (which comes in a #30275 Glock gen 4 ejector housing @$8) Pull your 336 ejector out of the housing and install 30274 ejector removed from gen 4 housing. If this does not fix it you can try an Apex fail resistant extractor PN# 102-104 @$55 Comes with a new spring but you'll have to by a non-LCI bearing (Glock#SP01176) for the spring if your gun has an LCI bearing (Glock #: 2714S) There are several threads on this subject if you can manipulate the search tool to find them. I'm just a Glock noob and my experience is based on fixing my own handgun. If I got something wrong-the local gurus will correct me! |

Will those even fit in Glock holsters? That trigger guard looks way off and ugly as hell too...

With the few that I have tried they don't fit perfectly but it's acceptable and usable View Quote http://polymer80.com/holsters/ Personally I like the double undercut, one of the reasons I never got a glock was due to the lower ergonomics |

Have yet to take it out but dry fired and really like lack of glock bump, and longer beaver tail. No effort to drop mag without breaking grip.

I got an agency trigger that i fear may become a poly80 gun soon...with the compacts coming out, will that trigger likley work in them?

The only thing that would make it more awesome is if we could slap a G19 slide on there!

Nice How does the light work? View Quote It doesn't "light up a whole room" like some reviews have said but it does the job. Overall I'm happy with it. |

Finished this one up the other day. Just waiting on my TBRCI comp, which should be here tomorrow. Will probably add an RMR later on, but for now it has a cover plate from Maple Leaf Firearms. I didn't like the shape of the trigger guard, so I removed the hook from the front and smoothed out the lines to make it more Glock-like. Sorry for the poor pic quality, the frame color is much more OD looking in person.

question for those that have these P80 frames. I dont like stock glocks because when i grip the gun, a bone in my right (strong) hand thumb sits uncomfortable on the frame directly below the rear sight. basically when i squeeze tight the frame hurts my thumb bone (the one closet to the wrist. i wonder if the p80 frame helps with that?
