198 is the green tip, "LEO version", seems bullet construction might vary, both versions hollow tip lead free..... from what I've read

Just got an email from targetsports USA that they have a 1k round case of the cheap AE 5.7 range ammo for $199, 20 cents a round.

Make sure you always keep it in a holster.
That safety is easily disengaged without you noticing it. Impressive shooter. |

SS195LF will probably not cycle the pistol reliably. I have one for a few years and the SS195LF seemed to be the only ammo I could get at a reasonable price so I sold the damn thing.

Ss198 is 100-200fps faster than ss195. And they must use different powder because there is less flash. 2200fps 27gr is screaming fast.
I am minute of squirrel at 20yrds. Very accurate and easy to shoot. Plus you can reach out to 100yrds easy with little drop.

Picked one up in April 19’ myself.
Ammo too 
Sad that only a few manufacturers make holsters for the 5.7. The only reason I bought a Serpa is because the others I found aren’t very good IMO. Any suggestions for an OWB holster? |

DAMN! For a holster that’s supposed to RETAIL for under $50.00.
If you aren’t aware of the “back story” on these holsters.....Blackhawk FINALLY produced a mold for the FN 5.7 MK II (which by their own admission costs almost $50,000) then proceeded to mold 300-350 holsters and shut down production. 
And from what I’ve heard the current crop of FN 5.7 MK II Serpa’s being sold on eBay aren’t even the correct “REV. D”, I’ve heard they’re modified FN USG Serpa’s. Thread on “fake” Revision “D” FN MK II Serpa’s

I don't know what the prevailing opinion on Alien Gear is, but I picked up a Cloak Tuck 3.5 for my USG and it is a decent holster, if a little big compared to the Comp-Tac MTAC that I'm used to for my Glocks. But the Fiveseven isn't exactly a small handgun either.

Yeah, Date Code is WAY off, they were only produced in a 1-2 month period in 16’. And typical of the scammers, they boogered up the Revision Code marking. I’ve seen a few where they TRIED to turn it into a “D”.

I had my 5-7 out last night at the range. Great pistol. For a holster I have to laugh....try finding a LEFT handed 5-7 holster. LOL

I have a 2004 FiveseveN IOM, try finding a holster for that. Some years back DeSantis made their speed scabbard which is what I have been using, I also found it fit a Galco OWB for an HK 45 but now I use that for a Polymer 80 34 I built.
I would like to find a kydex for it but probably will have to have one custom made.
