You will have a nice door stop when something breaks on it. View Quote Glock 19 recoil assembly is direct fit. Apex trigger springs are direct fit for M&P. The entire trigger bar/sear cage setup might even be a direct swap or easily modified to fit. The striker should be a direct swap. Zenith has stated that they will stand behind it for 5 years still even though they sold their complete guns to CDNN. Not sure why you guys think guns break all the time. Most of these guns undergo 25000 round testing before failure of any type. I paid $220 for this gun. If it breaks beyond repair, I'll just part it out to on ebay or gunbroker and make most if not more than my initial investment. Good grief. |

Life's too short to buy trashcan guns.
Let us know how it actually works before getting defensive and bragging on it too much. |

Not bragging at all. Just LOL at people getting pissy about how I spent my $220. BTW, every Ruger I've owned had to go back for service. Every Turk gun I've owned ran like a raped ape....YMMV

Can't see the video. Link to $199 M&P clone?
ETA: Zenith MC28SA? Visually, it just looks... off. Like the generic handgun silhouette on a "No CCW sign" or in a cartoon. |

I just love how people who have never even held a certain gun, let alone fired it, have such strong negative opinions about them. I have one of the SAR B6 CZ clones that has given me no problems whatsoever. Yeah, ran a mag through it in my backyard. No problem. Going to an outdoor range Saturday morning to run 200rds through it.

Lol at pissy comments.
I don't believe they watched your video. I saw these and was curious about them. Keep posting updates. Hard to pass on the deal you got. |

I thought Zenith were importing these a few years ago but there’s no mention of them on their site.
I like Turkish pistols and have had good luck with them. My Canik TP9SA has been flawless. I’ve never shot a SAR I didn’t like and the new SAR 9 is a good design. $199 is still cheaper than a Sccy pistol, I haven’t watched the video yet but if the OPs Girsan shoots well, he got a deal. |

I grabbed one of these primarily due to the OP's post, and am happy to report that my initial experience has been very positive.
Can't wait to get to the range and see how well the MC28 performs. I like how it combines the superb take-down M&P lever process with the Glock-style trigger safety, while adding a visual armed striker indicator. |

Looks like it would make a good beater/truck/stash gun. Cheap enough to toss a few around.

For $200, it might not be bad. I am always a little leery about buying anything that has not been around a while with a good track record, as I have gotten burned before.

Picked one of these up a few weeks ago when they ran another $199 sale. Seems to be just as well built as any M&P I owned. Trigger is a bit rough but it's smoothing out.

The Turks tend to build serviceable stuff.
I wish I'd gotten one of the SAR K2's when they were under 300 a few years back... |

It will be a great gun to loan out vs a real M&P. See my comment in another thread about Rem 700 30-06 $200 loaner.

I bought 2 of these from Zenith at slightly higher prices than the OP paid.
These come with 3 mags each from the factory. $200 is a steal for these. |

Finally took the Zenith MC-28 Compact to the range.
I started at 21 feet, and was impressed with the accuracy of this pistol right out of the box. All told, I shot 100 rounds from ever-increasing distances. The pistol ran great and flung the brass in the same general area which is always appreciated. Plus, I grouped very well all the way out to the (indoor) range maximum of 50 feet. As mentioned earlier, the trigger (which started out a bit stiff and gritty) made big strides in feel even though the reset remained very light with almost no audible click. The takedown lever was very stiff initially, but now works as well as any M&P I've ever had. The Glock-like magazine loader they included doesn't work very well, but after a few rounds I was able to easily put 10 rounds in with my thumbs . Interestingly, I usually run Medium to Large backstraps on my pistols that offer such choices, but this one feels best to me with the Small one installed. That's it, I'm amazed at how good this MC28 Compact both functions, and shoots! |

I see a lot of people loading mags wrong on YouTube videos all the time. Try using the next incoming round to push the current top round down and slide it under the feed lips. When I see guys using their thumb to push down the top round I just cringe. My mags on the MC28 were easy to load by hand. Do you have arthritis or hand injuries?

Quoted: Just saw that. I am looking hard at it. I like the CZ 97 but don't feel like coughing up near to $600 plus for it. I did pick up an EAA B6P Compact from CDNN for $199. It was pink but too good of a deal to pass up. I duracoated it in Colt Gray It has been a very nice gun so far. Lucky to find magazines at CTD for $25 each. They only come with 1.
