Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Para Ordnance Warthog or P-10 1911 Compact Hammer Srut Length

Can anyone help me by informing me the proper length of a Para Ordnance Warthog 1911 Compact hammer strut.  I need this information in order to cut a Browning 380 Compact hammer strut down in size in order to fit and function in a Warthog frame.  Everything fits inside the frame but the hammer strut is not letting me to cock the hammer because it is too long.  Thank you for any assistance.  John
