I see many Para's discussed P10, P12. P14 etc. What do I have. Bought it USA made about the time of the Remington buy out. Mags only 6 rounds and non Para mag's even 6 rounders stick out about 1/4 inch. I've run 300 to 400 rounds through it without any type of failure or problem. Nice size for concealed carry and seems very dependable. Therefore I have a few questions. What is it other than an Elite Carry. Is it any type of P, 14-12-10 or ????? It's not a Warthog of any type due to the 6 rounds mags. Any suggestions or anything other than normal maintenance on it. At this time only take it out for 50 rounds or so twice a year then clean and lube it for the next time.

Guess overall I'm just looking for thoughts on it.

My normal carry is a Sig 938 or a Sig 365 both 9mm and sometimes a Sig 238 380.

I have the Executive Carry, but mine has 8 round mags.

It's a light weight oddball 45.  It has the bull barrel without a bushing (spacer between the guide rod and barrel).

Mine is a decent little gun, and I carried it for a while.  The short barrel makes it pretty inaccurate ant anything beyond 12 to 15 yards.

I do pretty much the same thing.  Take it out shoot it once or twice a year, clean it and shove it in the back of the safe.

I don't wanna get rid of it as there is no more PARA.  I know it will never be a collectors item, but I still like it as a little nightstand gun or paperweight.

Good luck OP, enjoy it.

Maybe it's just me but I was surprised at how accurate it was out 10-15 yards or so. I'm pm the downhill side of 76 years old so hands and eyes defiantly aren't as good as they once were and that was what surprised me with the Para. I usually carry and shoot my Sig 365 and also my Sig 938 and do reasonably well with either but the Para is right up there with them other than a little larger and heavier.
