Palmetto State Armory is having clearance sale on lots of dagger slides, mostly the doctor cut.
https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-dagger/dagger-clearance.html?product_list_order=price_asc Prices as low as $100 for a complete slide without barrel or recoil spring assembly to a maximum of $260 for complete guns. Personally, I would replace the firing pin with an actual Glock OEM firing pin. I have it heard of any other issues with the parts they use in the uppers however. 9-22-23 edit - adding Rock search. Frames at $99.99, complete slides as low as $134.99 All Rock items, sorted lowest to highest price Quoted: just shave a little metal off the back of the RS-10 with a file and slightly enlarge the screw openings to fit the bigger optic screws that go in the PSA slide. The RS-10 is the best Dr optic available and the slide deals PSA has on clearance are almost too good to pass up. Put some rustoleum black paint on the RS-10 you filed and you're good to go. It was really simple and I just did with a blem RS-10 I recently picked up. View Quote |

At this point, they have two slides with barrels at $139. If you got in on the $50 complete frame deals they've been running a bunch of, you got a $190 complete weapon.
They have nine complete with barrel slides at $170. They have 13 complete with barrel slides at $180. The rest are complete handguns between 260 and 280 with one at 320. Edit .. the following was before I knew there were issues with the optic fitting the PSA Dagger. I asked primary arms if that issue has been fixed in another thread. I'll reply here with his reply either way. This would be a good time to pick up a https://www.primaryarms.com/primary-arms-slx-rs-10-1x23mm-mini-reflex-sight-3-moa-dot. |

They've added several more slides to the clearance link, still at full price. It's worth checking again for price drops or additions. Especially the un-cut slides in odd colors.

I saw a video that was posted elsewhere where I think the guy just did a small amount of hand filing. I don't know if he filed on the optic body or on the slide. Edit. Some people file a small amount off the slide, this guy took a little off the optic because it was cheaper (not anymore). https://www.reddit.com/r/PalmettoStateArms/comments/w9vv93/blem_dagger_and_a_modified_primary_arms_optic_on/ Screenshot of the meat of the thread |

May just grab a Vortex Venom which seems to mount fine. Primary Arms has a save12 code which is tempting so may grab one from there as well and if it does not meet my fancy will save it for other project.

Looks like the primary arms are RS-10 is still a no-go without some sort of modification to be slide or optic.
Quoted: Quoted: Since PSA has lots of doctor cut slides on clearance, this would be a good time to ask if it has been resolved. Will the Primary Arms SLx RS-10 mini reflex sight fit current Doctor cut PSA Dagger slides? Quoted: Quoted: Does anyone have hands on newer production RS-10s? Wondering if the refresh rate has been mitigated and how they're currently fitting on Doctor mounts. I'm looking to put one on an offset Doctor mount, not in a slide cut, so overall size doesn't matter, just the recoil boss and screw fit. Thanks! View Quote We have made modifications to the screw holes to allow for greater flexibility. Regarding the refresh rate, we can assure you that there are no issues to be concerned about. Additionally, we offer a 90-day return policy when purchasing from our website, and we cover all shipping costs. View Quote View Quote So the issue with those is that ours is a true doctor/noblex pattern and the one on the daggers is the more of the modified pattern that vortex etc uses. Do not belive it will fit without modification. View Quote |

That is a heck of a deal. Do the Daggers use Glock recoil springs?

Quoted: That is a heck of a deal. Do the Daggers use Glock recoil springs? View Quote I'm 99% sure the dagger works with the Glock 19 recoil spring assembly. That's what it's essentially a copy of. I never actually swapped them when I had them. On a plus note, the PSA dagger recoil spring assembly actually looks and feels like a higher quality than glock. It's a stainless steel assembly. Of course that's a $10 part versus $5 where I buy Glock 19 rsa's, so there you go ![]() |

I decided to bite the bullet since one of the slides I've NEVER seen on sale dropped in price by 35%.
![]() Just kidding ![]() But this shiny boi is on the way. I'll drop my polished Aim Surplus barrel in for maximum bling factor and swap a Gen5 backplate. ![]() https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-dagger-complete-slide-assembly-day-sights-non-threaded-extreme-carry-cuts-stainless.html I'd prefer straight stainless steel, but they went with this PVD coated version instead. It'll let me get the two-tone needs out of my system. |

I was eye-balling these pretty hard today. I bought something different but even the flag coated slide for $135 with a threaded barrel is hard to pass on. Does anyone know if they are getting rid of the line or changing the look?

They never ever put any of these stainless or flag models on sale before. But they have sold out of all three versions already. I'm glad I pounced when I did. |

I think they're dumping Docter cut slides because nobody wanted them.

Quoted: I think they're dumping Docter cut slides because nobody wanted them. View Quote Plus they're getting rid of most/all non optic versions as well. There's a black DLC with night sights but barrel/RSA for $139.99 and an FDE standard sight, no barrel/RSA for $109.99. Everything else is either optic cut or has various cuts in the slide (sw1, sw2, etc). |

I'd love to see factory slides with the deep K cut of the Micro Dagger slides. Finger crossed for the future.

Quoted: There is also a FDE night sight, no barrel/RSA option for $149.99. I grabbed that and the black model in the same configuration to complete some SCT-19 builds. The best deals for the RMR cut complete slides were back in late April/early May. They had complete slides with RMR cut and threaded barrels and suppressor height sights for $200 with shipping and $220 with free shipping. And some of the suppressor sights had a tritium front sight. Here is a black rmr cut slide I bought in late April. https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img924/8483/Yex6Nv.jpg View Quote How does it shoot? Quoted: I think they're dumping Docter cut slides because nobody wanted them. View Quote Yeah I agree, but it worked to my advantage. I ordered a SW2 with suppressor sights, threaded barrel, and Doctor cut for my son as he's just starting out on his own and is financially constrained right now but had lucked into a dirt cheap used Vortex optic. If anyone is looking for OEM mags Recoil Gunworks has them for $20. Shipping is $5. |

Might as well show my haul. I snagged a pair of the stainless steel PVD finish basic slides. I already sold the barrels and RSAs on Reddit and installed a polished SS AIM Surplus barrel. I added an OEM Glock Gen5 backplate and a Strike Industries Gen3 to Gen4 adapter. It is supposed to prevent frame flex, I just cared about filling in the gap at the end of the slide. Noth pieces were less than $30 shipped from eBay (ordered from two different vendors on Friday morning, received both packages midday on Monday from the USPS).

Yeah, not $50, or $60 ![]() All the compact and S frames are still $60, with two-packs at $100. I'm thinking about the FDE set so I could dye the compact frame purple for my 13 year old. |

[#34]
The standard FDE slide with barrel popped up again the other day, so I snagged it (went OOS immediately after I ordered) along with the two pack of FDE frames. Delivery date is next Tuesday for slide and frames, would be a record for my orders if that's the arrival date

They still have barrel-less slides from $109.99 to 149.99 with barrelled slides at the $149.99, 159.99 & 199.99 price point.

They're also getting rid of the non-optic cut Rock slides (5.7). I thought about getting a FDE frame ($99.99), complete slide ($134.99) and magazine ($19.99) but the ammo is still a little too high priced for my taste, plus I think I would regret not getting the optic cut version later on.
All Rock items, sorted lowest to highest price Complete guns were as low as $299.99 and I believe they came with two magazines. |
