So, the wife like the feel of this better than the sigs, glocks and shields.  local shop wants $469.  I seen older posts about $279, $259 ect.  I take it these deals are long gone?  I cannot even find the thing in stock anywhere,  GB looks to be around $500.  Yes i know this is the wrong time to be buying guns, but the wife has finally shown interest.  Should i wait till the dust settles, if ever?

I paid $406.00 shipped for mine a few weeks after the M2 came out.
I would not hold my breath waiting for prices to drop but to each is own.

Long gone are the salad days when PSA blew them out for $269 and free shipping. They bought inventory from Ellett Brothers and some other distributors that are now defunct.

I saw a PPS M2 at Hyatt's in Charlotte about  nine months ago I think they wanted $440 or more for it.

Same for for me and agree on waiting.
I would think IF you can find one below $500 I would buy it. $469 sound like a good price in this climate.

Looks like I will be stopping today to buy it.  Damn the mags are expensive, twice the Glock.  Anyone have a place for buying mags under $45?

Also, are the factory standard sights decent or do they need to go?

IIRC, cdnn has them every once in a while.  I had an M2 years ago.  Should have never let it go.

Well, good news/bad news.  I bought the pistol and the dealer had 3 mags for $40 each, not great not terrible, but he had them in stock.  The SN# of the pistol falls between the recall numbers for the drop safety.  The dealer is sending it to walther for me.

The only time I have had to deal with Walther CS, I sent my 1st gen PPS in for the slide lock recall and it came back pretty quick, less than 2 weeks from time shipped to return, but that was about 3 years ago.

The last two I bought were on eBay of all places. IIRC, $34 each. OEM mags.
ETA- Just checked eBay, still in stock at $34.

Yeah, I just looked and the 8 rounders look scarce.  But honestly, I carry mine with the 7 rounder and one in the pipe with another 7 rounder in my pocket.

The extra round of the 8 rounder is nice but in my opinion, it extends the grip too much.  7 rounder is just right and still keeps it tight and close to the body IWB.

I wouldn't pay big money for an extra round magazine in the 8 unless they show up on ebay again at the prices they used to be.

Got a Vedder lighttuck and OWD paddle holster coming.  Also, snagged a BNIB set of Truglo TFX pro's for $82 shipped off Gunbroker, which i thought was a hell of a deal.

Just ordered two 7-rd mags for PPS M2 from CDNN. Price with shipping was $68.

I can live with that.

As for a holster/mag carrier I'm looking at either something from Tactical Justice or [nerd] (SLICC holster)

FWIW I run the Magguts kits in my PPS mags, both the gen 1 and 2 mags. I have alot more round through the gen 1 mags, but I never have had an issue.

The two 7-round mags I received from CDNN were "bulk packed" in a heavy-gauge ziploc with a brand card vs. the retail clamshell packaging if that matters to anyone.

Lanbo's Armory in TX currently has the 8-round mags in stock. $34.45 each plus shipping. Retail/Clamshell packaging and made in Italy (Mec-Gar).
