My M17 came with a manual, yellow in color front cover that is marked " P320-M17". Does the M18 come with one marked "P320-M18"?

I ask, as this is Sigs reply Thank you for contacting Sig Sauer.

At current there is no specific manual for the P320 M18 and it remains to be seen if this will be something that we will have commercially available in the future.

Regards,

The manual will be a combo of M17/18 which is available online to download as a pdf but like you I also want the proper manual with my M18

I know that, just wanted one that said M18. They should have labeled it, M17/18 for people like me!

The military has the Operator and Field Maintenance Manual just labeled "MHS".

No the P320-M18 does not come with an M17/M18 manual. Mine came with a regular P320 manual.

Um...Why does it matter, beyond autistic levels of OCD? It’s the exact same gun as the M17 or any other P320, just with a Compact slide assembly. There aren’t going to be any hidden secrets about the M18 that you’re missing out on by not having a manual specifically marked “M18”

I simply wanted one that said M18 since my M17 came with one marked as such. Not OCD, etc. Nothing more bub

Having the online version marked “M17/M18” would suffice. The the principle of having things match and I agree that the M series book should come with M series pistols.

Please let me know if this doesn't work.  Don't have the physical copies but the below is the digital copies of the  Operators Manual for the M17/M18 and the Field Maintenance Manual.  One item of note, part of the contract with the military called for pins to hold all the guts in the sear housing that civilian ones don't have (and don't need, the military gets the housings assembled as a complete unit) and contains no instructions for how to tear down and reassemble the striker assembly (military orders those as a complete unit as well). Other than that, they're pretty complete.

TM 9-1005-470-10 - Operator Manual for MHS (M17 M18)

TM 9-1005-470-23 P - Field Mainteance Manual for MHS (M17 M18)
