Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - P229 Legion - Surefire X300U-B or Streamlight TLR-1 HL?

I'm looking to get a weapon light for my P229 Legion and have narrowed it down to these two. In reading about both, however, older threads on the interwebs appear to indicate a potential fit issue with the X300U that requires the removal of the backplate or something similar. Does anyone have either of these lights? How is fitness on the P229?
