posted this in the wrong place at first still learning. Found this gun in dad's safe.   AC/43 is on the side? how do I tell if it 1st/2nd/3rd generation. it has 3 eagles on the side 1st eagle/359, 2nd eagle/ball, 3rd eagle/35? maybe 8 or 9. serial 4480 c eagle above the trigger. whats it worth? how do add pictures? Who made it?

There is no "generation". You have a Walther  (AC) made P-38 produced in 1943. The Eagle and number marks are proof / inspectors marks.

Try using imgur to post photos. As far as what it's worth we'll have to see the gun.  How is the bore?
