I picked up a HK USP Compact at the funshow a few weeks ago, and looked up the mfg  date which was 2000.  I've been reading about how HK redesigned the firing pin and FP block several years later.  Do I need to get these new parts?  Besides the new style firing pin, what other parts do I need to replace?

I have a early 2000’s USP 9c and 45f.  No issues to date with either.   45f has several thousand rounds thru it.   9c maybe less than 2k.

If you have a issue call HK.  They will take care of it.

I was told that if you plan to dry fire it alot then consider the upgraded firing pin.
