I occasionally grab the heavy, cumbersome, unwieldy old beast I thought was so cool and had to buy over 30 years ago for my hike around the property borders.
I have a 1960s Ruger 44 carbine as a companion I recently fixed and got working. I call it heavy day.

I now wish I would have kept my short list
of firearms. Looks good OP. 5.56 is all new to me, except for BCT in 1971.

Nice setup. Is the Ruger one of the tube-fed variants, or the rotary magazine model?

People had heard me complaining about not being able to afford a Randall in the 80s when I was in the Rangers. And how I splurged to get a real $40 Kabar instead of the 20$ Camillus clone. I got the biggest Randall as a retirement present.

I still have one after selling the other many years ago. Wish I kept it. The Deagle is either a love or hate gun for most. I love mine.

It’s definitely a gun for the range, or to sit in a tree waiting for a hog or deer kind of gun.
Not so much a carry around concealed or draw fast kind of gun |

What's the odds? lol Cool gun. I would have said I've never seen one but for all I know I have an just assumed it was a 10/22
