Primary Machine did the work on my VP9 slide last month.  You will be pleased as you chose wisely.

Cool.  I had wanted to do that to one of mine but may just wait for the 2020 models to come out.  I need one on OD green anyways.

It sucks that HK just came out with the optics ready VP9.  Now I have the dilemma of sending mine out to get milled or trade my current VP9 for an optics ready model.
I suck and HK hates me.

If you don’t have a VP9 yet or are looking to get one...  I honestly believe you can’t beat some of the prices on the pre 2020 models right now and just send it off to get milled. That’s my opinion. I won’t get mine killed but I am interested in an SK 2020!

Mill it. Mounting plates suck! Milling it is a much much better route.

This thread is garbage without PICTURES!

Sorry for the upside down pic....I got excited.

Finish and fit of the slide and RMR are beautiful.

It was a bitch to put the slide on but I just took my time and was patient and have been dey firing it and it is already loosening up.

I would give Primary Machine 87 out of 87 stars.  I am very happy.

I cant wait to learn to use this thing.

That looks awesome!
So the new cerakote made it fit tight on the frame?

Yep...I just kept working at it and then it got on.  Cycling the slide was a bit tough, and it would not quite go back into battery at first...but I bet I cycled and dry fired it 100:times last night and no issues,

when I first started playing with the RDS...I honestly thought I made a mistake.  Finding the dot was terrible, and it wobbled and bounced like crazy...then about the 20th time I drew and presented, I noticed the dot and front sight were coming on target and was more steady...and by the end of the night, it was even faster and more steady.

I learned really quickly to see the target and then put the sight on it...and it gets much easier.

i want to RED DOT ALL THE THINGS now.

A piece of great advice I got when first trying out red dots...odds are when you draw, the dot is where it should be but your head isn't. Draw and instead of moving the gun around to find it, try moving your head instead...

I'll give that a try.

I've found that the more I draw and present, and focus my eyes on the target, the front sight and red dot automatically come right into view and the easier it gets.
