Hello - what type of ammo should I buy for a 9MM that I plan to use for range shooting?

Any major brand full metal jacket, Remington, Winchester, Speer, Federal, 115 or 124 grain.  You'll find that some brands and bullet weights may shoot better in your pistol.  You just have to try several and see what works best.

Yes, FMJ, and there's no reason to keep checking thread for other opinions.   Because all replys will be FMJ.

The only variation might be brass and remanufactured ammo.   My advice is always buy brass cased and always buy all new.
