New STR-9 Combat needs a red dot but which one fits the plates?

I know, the plates will "fit most major manufacturers" I'd like to know specifically if it will fit a specific model before I spend hundreds on a tiny red dot.
I prefer a "shake and wake' feature and easy to sight in and use for daily carry.
Preferred make and model with price around 200.00 and up should get me started at least.
