Saw this pop up on Gunbroker and was tempted by the original price, but when it dropped to $1250 I decided to bring it home.

Made in 1980 with SN SA42166. Came with a box is poor condition, including missing both end flaps. Inside it has the manual and a letter from Colt Industries about warranty work.

The condition is very good or better. Likely unfired since leaving the factory. There is some handling and shelf wear, including some light scuffing on the installed .44-40 cylinder and one little blemish on the bottom of the butt. The .44 Special cylinder looks fabulous and both have the matching serial numbers (last 4 digits). I think the bluing and case colors are excellent. I do plan to shoot this gun, so I'm not worried about the minor condition issues.

Without further ado...pictures.

Thanks for posting.

Always wanted one like that or similar.

Walked by a lot of them at the fun show back in the day.
