Well crap, less than 200 rounds through my new PMR 30 and had a out of battery discharge.  Magazine was carefully loaded with the recommended CCI ammo, I fired about fifteen rounds and something felt weird, I stopped and found a crushed blown out case stuck partially in the chamber, it blew the magazine loose and the slide release tab is gone.  No other damage was done to the gun or me.  I was shooting while standing on my gravel driveway thats partially covered with leaves so I didn't find it but who knows where it launched to.  I've already sent a repair ticket off to Kel Tec along with a photo so we'll see what they do about it.

Kel-Tec c.s. will make it right, although this time of year might see longer turn around times.

Edited original post, it was the slide release tab that blew off, not the magazine release.  The tab was molded on to the metal part and is no where to be found.

Okay I got a reply from Kel Tec and they are sending me a new slide release.  I looked at the Tandemkross website and they have a disassembly video for installing their Victory trigger.  I went ahead and ordered a trigger from them (I was going to anyway.) so I get the spring tension tool for the spring in the feed ramp that engages the slide release.

Okay I got the slide release from Kel Tek and installed it along with the Tandemkross Victory trigger.  Also polished the feed ramp and chamber and gave it a good lubrication. I went out today and ran 100 rounds through with no problems.

The only problem I had with my PMR30 was a broken takedown pin which KT replaced.  The CP33 has been dead nuts reliable.

OP what you might look at is that the top cover over the firing pin isn't wonkey.
Or there is some mung holding the firing pin ahead.

I have two and after a couple hundred rounds, both are reliable enough if I load the magazine right.
