Got in a new PDP compact 4 inch.  Just ordered the optic plate for the RMR / Holosun.  Pretty sure I'm going with the Holosun, but trying to decide between the 407 and 507.  And the C or K frame?   Any opinions both pro or con?  Pics on your set up appreciated!

Get a C model, no point in the K model on that Thiccc slide.  Also the K is not compatible with RMR footprint anyway

407 vs 507 boils down to if you want to pay more for the reticle options. The 5 has the ring, ring dot, dot option.   The 407 is just a dot.  I have a bunch of 507c and I never use anything but the dot for pistols

I put a Holosun 507 with the ACSS chevron on my PDP and love it!

Also the 508T model with longer warranty, titanium build, and rmr footprint.

I’m a big 509t fan. Love the closed emitter. Just seems to come up naturally for me.  Running C&H Precision plate.

Nice! How much does the adapter plate overhang the slide?

Not much over. Here’s a shot that might help give an idea.

Does the adapter plate have a fence in front of the optic or is there a gap from the optic to the slid? I can’t tell from the pictures. This might be my next pistol.

I have the 508Ton the factory RMR plate. The rear of the plate has a gap of approx 1/8" from the frame. Front of the plate is flush to the slide. Front of the optic itself is approx 1/8 from the back and front of the slide cut. There is no front or rear ledge on the adapter plate.

Im running C&H Precision Plates. There is no gap, which is one of the reasons I chose C&H.
