Not sure if anyone here is a fan of the 84's (I wasn't until I saw James Reeves TFB Review), but the Turners Outdoorsman in Tucson, AZ has some in stock.  Unfortunately you have to purchase in store, as they won't ship to your local FFL.  I picked-up this 2015 produced Bruniton Finish yesterday for $740 OTD.  They also have Nickel.

I guess these came from Turners CA warehouse (Turners is a multi-store gun retailer in CA & just open a store in Tucson, AZ).  They could no longer be sold in CA when Beretta didn't renew these to the CA DOJ approved roster of handguns for sale in CA.  So I guess Turners still had these in their warehouse when they fell off the CA roster.  Being a CA gun, mine came with two ten round mags.

If you want one, Turners in Tucson had them as of yesterday.

Here's mine.

Nice pistols but I'm not sure they're $740 nice.  I have an 81 in 32 that's a lot of fun to shoot.

If they had the .32 FS version like the OP's .380 I would snap one up at 750.  If it was an 87 in .22lr, I'd pee myself with joy and then snap it up!

Is the 84 fs discontinued permanently? Or is it being produced in small runs? Searching for a NIB one, preferably nickel but blued [or whatever] would do.

those were out a few years ago and were slow sellers. I bought one, this was just before the market was flooded with 81 and 81bbs.

From what I heard, it's still in the catalog.  I'm sure Beretta can tool-up and make some if there's a demand.

New old stock or like new have been popping-up on GB.  But expect to pay around a $1000.  And even more for Nickel.

Thanks! Yeah, I checked out Gunbroker. Just a couple NIB, no nickel. Don't want to give what they are asking. Oh well................

It's always supply and demand.  Beretta may eventually do another run & prices will go down.

Love these pistols and the 85, too.  Here's one with his bigger, 9mm brother:

May pick one up if they make another run. In the meantime, I ordered a F380B Fatih, should be here today.

Those kind of remind me of the old Taurus PT-100. (IIRC)  Let us know how you like it.

I had the Browning version (with wood grips) of this pistol.  It was beautiful and wasan excellent shooter.

According to Beretta.eu, the 81FS, 84FS and 85FS and 84FS Nickel are still in production, no MSRP offered. Your Beretta FFL should be able to order one, though the wait might be long. I see them pop up randomly at gun shows and in the occasional glass case (how I got my 84FS) but they are few and far between, fo' sho'.

Have been fortunate to pick up an 81FS and 84FS BNIB (plastic case inside silver Beretta box) when they were still reasonable. The current premium on them in my opinion is justified as they are some of the finest machined and aesthetically pleasing firearms, not to mention their sporadic if ever import.
