I picked up my first FN pistol yesterday... the FNX 45 Tactical FDE.   Cabelas had it in stock and on-sale.  They just got the pistol in 2 days before I picked it up.

For 45, I love the 15 rounds and can't wait to get it to range in the next week.

Luckily I already have an Obsidian 45.  :)

It will be the new bump in the night gun.

Yes.  I have a Holosun 507C-X2 Vulcan on order.

I also managed to score some mags for $40 ea.

I just put a Holosun 508t on my FNX 45 Tac tonight. Perfect size in my opinion. I really like the FNX. Trigger doesn’t feel great but I always get good results when shooting it. I shoot it suppressed with a Dead Air Ghost. The optic I took off of it was dirty from suppressed shooting. Be prepared to clean your optic often.

Surefire X300.  It's a pain to get on and especially off - the SF's don't seem to like the FN rails (or pretty much any rails) besides the Glocks, which they jump on and off of.

Any luck finding left handed OWB holsters w/ sight?  Looking more like needing to go with leg holster...?

Are you using the "P" adapter plate?  No issues with mine.
Several thousand rounds and the trigger is smooth like butter.

Anybody got a good source for mags? Best I can find is scopelist and eurooptic. I got some from Joebob but they’re out of stock.

I wouldn't pay more than $50 per mag; you can occasionally find them in the $40-$45 range.

I have 22 of them, so a few dollars off adds up.

KT-Mech Duty Akela, made to order. They also have a wraparound version now.

You can go basic; or go all out with fabric wrap, liner, etc... If you want a fabric they don't have or if they don't list your light they do send-ins.

So i dropped $ on my first pistol can and did it E-file for the 45. what gun did i pick? FNX 45.

So i was all over for holsters. i carry full size appendix with other guns, so i hit tier 1 concealed.

im slimming but more dad bod. point blank, i got a small gut. so sitting for a long time isnt a good idea for a full size.
loosen the belt and bring the hulk.
that said, standing.. well i have a few full size guns that i throw in the middle so im familiar with the size..

tier 1 concealed was the holster i went with for CCW with the X300. i plan on standing a lot when i put it on.

My all time favorite firearm. I looked for years trying to find at local stores. I finally found one two years ago and it became my prized possession, lol. I got the can for this gun. Completely blown away with how quiet it is! Would recommend to anyone. Rugged Obsidian 45.

I have carried both ways. All I want to say is, make sure you have your thread protector on extremely tight or take it off! When you walk, I guess, the movement eventually unscrew it.

Put a couple wraps of Teflon tape on the threads then screw the thread protector on. This works well to keep the silencer on tight as well.

I recently put an RMR on mine. Does it need a sealing plate?

I love mine. It may soon be my only 45acp. An O-ring available at Lowe’s (Danco #41-Plumbing section) will keep the thread protector one.
I’ll try to edit this post with the ones I use when I leave this Dr appt.
