Can anyone point me to where I can find a replacement cylinder for Iver Johnson Sealed 8 (.22 revolver)?

I’ve looked all over the inter webs with no luck. Trying to help a friend restore his Grandfather's gun to give to his Dad for his birthday.

Some possible sources.
You'll have to contact them to insure the right part.
Parts will usually be used and will need fitting..... IF the part isn't so badly used it can't be fitted due to wear.

Had that happen to an old FIE cowboy cylinder.  Took it to a gunsmith.  Think he just Dremeled out the metal that had flowed into the rim recesses.

.22 chamber reamer will re-cut the rim slots.  No deeper, just remove debris.

There is a rim recess and firing pin slots both to repair.

Needle file will re-cut firing pin |_| cut outs.

Somebody gotta quit dry-firing it.

Rachet looks OK.

Smith might have one.  Current cylinder matches current hand.  Dremel will make a mess and rims will split if under cut.  Almost any simple square faced tool will chatter and make a real mess trying cutting rim recess only.  Chamber Reamer probably no more expensive than cylinder and shipping.

Gun mostly junk anyhow.
