Took mine apart and Duracoated it.  It bent when I was punching it back in.

I would like to replace it with a solid pin if possible

Got it to work.  I was able straighten out the original damage roll pi.  I cut off the bad portion.  I went really slow and drove it in from the top rather than the bottom.

I broke the original dry firing it, ordered the better replacement, its rolled like a cinnamon roll.
