I purchased one new, it’s my wife’s favorite pistol.
They really like “hot” 9mm for the gas delayed action to properly function. We run ONLY Winchester 9mm 127 gr +P+. |

You weren't kidding when you wrote that your friend sent you a nice pistol. I consider them to be one of the best pistol designs ever made.
I prefer the American magazine release models (P7 M13 and M8 pistols) because they're a lot faster when conducting combat reloading. " /> |

Nice!!
Never owned one, but a mate in the pistol club had one. Same M8 version too, I much preferred it to the fatter M13 One to treasure, as is the friend that gifted it to you |

Wow.
My friends leave double deckers in my bathroom. No fair. |

Damn good friend and sounds like he needs a good bottle of Scotch and perhaps a few cigars to with said Scotch

I did the same thing to a lifelong friend he always wanted an ar since we saw platoon as kids , so for his birthday I mailed him a 16” carbine that I built I thought it would be a more personal gift that I built it ! Needless to say he loved it :) and that’s all that mattered it inspired him to get a pistol and now we have a fellow enthusiast!

Careful OP those pistols seem to reproduce and next thing you know you have more than one.

Wow. Nice!
I bought a few "B" grades when they were being imported 10 years or so ago. Foolishly traded most of them away for guns that were mostly forgettable. |
|
Very clean and with 6 mags and a nice holster. You hit the jackpot. I most likely will never own one but have always wanted one. Enjoy it!

Thats a hell of a friend! Congrats! I love my P7 and its definitely a keeper.

Nice gun. I had one long ago. They were imported. By Century Arms. I think they were $600
The squeeze cocker took some getting used to You are lucky to get the Magazines with it Those are expensive |
|
Congrats on a great pistol. I have an M8 and think they are cool designs.

|
I need friends like you have.
Have wanted a P7 for a long time, but they are simply out of my grasp now. Enjoy your pistol sir. |

Very good. I wish I'd bought magazines for these years ago. Could have doubled my money, as they are selling for ridiculous prices.
The guns are also. They are fun guns to shoot, and are about as safe a "single action" striker fired pistol as you will ever find. Just let up on the cocking lever, and it decocks itself; no lever to slide up and down. The triggers are pretty good on them also. |

Classic HK.
Keep gas tube free of oil. Don't use metal brush to clean piston. Great pistol. Had two grade A pistols I paid 800.00 each for. Didn't shoot them much after the first year or so and had several offers to sell. Finally gave in and sold both for a slight profit. Now prices have doubled. Don't even remember what I bought with the money. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say. I have a M13, but its unfired so I'm looking for a worn P series to run. Enjoy. |
|
I've never been a fan of those guns but I know a lot of people do like them. You have a very good friend there.
I always said if a got a good deal on one I'd flip it, but if it was a gift from a good friend I would keep it and treasure it. |
|
I just want to let all P7 HK owners that I am accepting a limited number of new friends. Feel free to gift me a P7 at anytime to complete the bonds of friendship.
OP that was a really cool gift I’m sure you’ll treasure it. |

That is awesome! I wish I had bought two of these years ago.
