Picked up this used HK45 the other day and I must say I’m impressed. I’ve always wanted one and heard nothing but good things about them. It has the LEM trigger and I’m starting to really like it. Very soft shooting pistol with awesome ergos, bought it for $680 otd.

Now I want a P30L in 9mm, what have I done?

Nice! I snagged a UPS45 for $475 with 3 mags from my cabelas gun library, bought a USPc 40 the following week for $400, and then the next month, bought an LE VP9 for $475 from the same cabelas gun library

I've had an HK 45 (non LEM) for some time.  At first I wasn't sure about keeping it, because the trigger was really not up to the standards one would expect of a pistol that sold at that time in the $1000 range.

But now, after many many rounds downrange, the trigger has improved, I have removed the silly "ski jump/trench" glove protector as it really played badly with my trigger finger, and it has become the last .45 I own that I would get rid of.  It's a great firearm.

I really didn't know what to think of the LEM trigger at first, the more I shoot it the more I like it. I'll really be able to compare them once I pick up the P30, it's an "S" model with ambi safeties.

I had a USP .40C in varient 1. I had it converted to LEM because of agency restrictions against single action triggers. Once those restrictions were lifted I had it converted back to V1. Hammerback life for me. LEM was a better D/A but it's still not as good as the S/A.

I sold it and my USP .45. I was getting rid of my .40 S&Ws and the full size was an odd man out as far as shared magazines.

H&K makes fine firearms. I was never disappointed by mine.

I've been shooting the LEM guns for a long time.  They take some getting used to, and will never be confused with a target trigger, but I think it's a great self defense trigger.  In the P30 series guns, I'm a big fan of the 4.1 version of the LEM, and the Gray guns short reset kit makes a huge difference.  I don't care for the "light LEM" at all.

I bought my HK45 and 45c the first day they were available locally (my 45 has a low 200 SN), converted both of them to LEM, and they are still that way thousands of rounds later.

I’m pretty pumped up about the P30, I’ve wanted one for years but never took the plunge. Am I right that the VP9 shares mags with the P30?

Thats correct.  The magazines will work in both the P30 and VP9.

Nice catch. HK makes a great gun and the grip options are amazing, especially with the VP9 and P30. You only have yourself to blame now, as the HK bug has hit you. Good luck and congrats.

I carried a p30sk with lem.  I really like it. I also have a VP9 that I really like. The VP9 is very glockish but much better grip. I think the hk mag release is a superior design. Amen is great once you get used to it.

Might want to finger bang a VP9L-B before you buy one. The triggers on these are phenomenal. I just got one about a month ago.

Everything is fine, I don’t have a problem..

Rguns import with grey frame. Just put 150 rounds through it, fantastic single stage trigger and probably the softest shooting plastic 9mm I’ve ever shot.

My first and second HK, in the same thread! Still have  another SA 1911 I might trade away for another

Probably a P30L

My very first handgun was an HK USP 9 back in 2006, now I have 3 more, USP Tac 45, USP 40, USPC 357Sig.

Soon your bank accounts will be at zero.

I'm currently hot after a P30L, there doesn't seem to be many out there though.
