I can't recall at the moment. But is it Eley that has the most reliable ignition?

I'm thinking of using this in my LCP 22.  42gr RNL. 1250fps.  Reliability is my No.1 Attachment Attached File

Eley is my go to for 22lr, supers or subs.

I doubt it'll expand out of the LCP.

The CMP has Eley ammo for sale at a great price if you are eligible to buy from them. I just ordered four cases.

The Velocitors are no faster than MIniMag 40RN and don’t deform/expand till they hit something solid.  The dimpled nose transfers energy theoretically better than round nose.

As to dependability, CCI fires 100% whether MiniMags, Blazer, or Standard.  Better than that is hard.

Ignition reliability in 22s has a lot to do with handling. Rough handling during shipping causes priming compound to be dislodged from the rim.

I have bought a lot of my 22 ammunition by the case from places that get direct shipments.

300 rounds bulk packed at $62.95. You are thinking this is a deal?

21 cents a round and taxed also.

Among the commonly available brands( Remington, cci etc eley isn't available in any sporting goods stores in my area) the cci seems the best.  I had a semi auto that was a jamomatic until I used cci it ran fine with standard or high velocity but would jam almost everymag with Remington.

I've got some of Eley Force coming.  I should have it by the weekend and hopefully be able to try it out Sat.

I also heard that Aquila is Eley primed.

Really depends on what it is fired out of.  My Marlin & M&P love the Winchester M22. Only 22's I have to compare though.

My neighbor has had some issues with lower end eley lately. Likely due to handling though.

I have faith in CCI. For SD I'd go mininag or stinger.

It at least used to be.
As late as 2016, Aquila was advertising "Eley primed".
Now they advertise "Aquila primed".
No idea what the difference is.

IME, nothing. I still see the same reliability as before which is to say on the level of CCI

OP, been thinking of running that in my MIL's long bbl Ruger SR-22, to get her the most penetration.

I shot 100rds of it last weekend.  1 misfire but it was also the first round out a mag that I used the slide lock lever to load and not slingshot. Fired on 2nd hit.

The ammo shoots really good, clean & accurate.  It was dead on in my LCP22

Most reliable, as in my goto ammunition for breaking-in a new gun or diagnosing a problem?

CCI Mini-Mag. The 40gr. load for rifles. The 36gr. load for pistols (generally, YMMV).

Make certain the Stinger will feed and function in your gun. The Stinger case is typically 1/10" longer than most other .22LR and at the edge of SAAMI spec for length. Many guns will feed it fine, some won't. It is also HYPER-velocity so make sure your gun works with that.

CCI-period.
This has been hashed out many times already.

Is there something else as good-yes but it will cost more.
