Sweet. I like the ad.

It would be neat to a see a pic chart of the guns of the month.
ETA, you guys prefer straight or curved factory grips?

I like them both.  Hogue are too fat.

You’ll need the circular slide rule to figure that out.

The Smith Gun of the Month/Week era was interesting

Sharp lookin gun.  So is that essentially a 6906 length slide on a 5903 frame?

It is a a upside down "T". It is the proof mark showing that it was test fired and past inspection at the factory.

Also it is a 6904 slide and barrel, not a 6906.

I prefer the straight grips.  By the take down slot near the magwell in the plastic, there will be a dot if the grips have been replaced due to recall.  SW used to send free grips, but you are probably on your own now.

I had a 5906 that was fun.

Actually, midway has both.  I ordered curved ( oos on straight at the time). Just checked, they have straight now as well.  I will get some along with the pins ( didn't come with the grips, figured extra wouldn't hurt.

Nice as hell JBT.  I foolishly sold an unfired NIB 4567 that had the same blued slide, silver/stainless frame combo 25 years ago.  I still regret it to this day.  I refinished a 3914 about 20 years ago to replicate the look, but still not the same.
